Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Nissan Murano- Video

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, it's gonna be a bit more of a unique hitch-mounted carrier, because it's sort of like a tray, very short sidewalls, but still a good amount of workable space on all the sides here. Now, there are gonna be some sidewalls, so inside dimensions front to back is gonna be 21 inches, and from side to side here, we're gonna be working with 48 inches. So with those sidewalls, you can use them to box some things in, but if you've got maybe some duffle bags, some softer items that need to overhang just a little bit, I think you'll be able to with this, so long as it's properly strapped down. For strapping things down, you can go around any of these main slats, or there's gonna be four holes in each of the corners where you can maybe get an S-hook run to or maybe a bungee. more

But depending on how you install it though, it might be a little tricky, because the Dodge Grand Caravan has a bumper that sticks out over here, so you're gonna have to like reach around the carrier to get into place and make sure that all that is tightened down. It's gonna be a great way to carry some extra stuff with you in your Santa Fe when there's no more room inside the vehicle, or maybe you've just got some stuff that you don't wanna put inside. Bags of mulch and concrete from the hardware store get to be pretty messy if they rip and backing out the interior of your cargo area is not very fun, so if you can keep it out here and just hose it off whenever you're done, that's a lot easier. Now with this being an aluminum carrier, it's gonna be very lightweight, easy to get in and out of the hitch, and when you're storing it in your garage, you can hang it up on the wall no problem because it's gonna be really lightweight. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods hitch mounted cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. This is going to be an aluminum carrier making it really lightweight and easy to load into your hitch and giving you away to carry extra stuff if you don't have enough space in the back of your Santa Fe or if you're carrying things that you don't want to put inside the vehicle at all. Camping equipment, things from the hardware store that maybe bring in a mess to your vehicle normally, you can keep that mess outside and easily clean it off with a hose when you're done. Now this carrier, although it is aluminum, can support up to 500 pounds of weight evenly distributed around, so it's certainly capable. The aluminum slats on the bottom are thick and able to accommodate wrapping straps around there. more

This carrier can support about 400 pounds which is a little bit less than some of our other options. So when I stand up here trying to stand in the center not on the mesh itself, the vehicle kind of goes down a little bit, but not too much. So I think it's gonna perform pretty well with this cargo carrier. Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video

Hi Matt here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about our Flint Hills good aluminum cargo carrier on the back of the 2022 Dodge Durango. As for the capabilities of this cargo carrier, it's about a medium sized cargo carrier that can handle about 500 pounds. So if I get in the back of it, I'm about 250 pounds, just under, and the vehicle barely shifts down, so the vehicle handles it very nicely as well. As for putting anything inside the cargo carrier, the walls are pretty short on it, they're pretty shallow, so this would be a great cargo carrier for anything like bags or anything that might kind of spill over just a little bit. As for the dimensions, it's gonna be about 48 inches in an interior of the width, just over 21 inches for the length, and then on the bottom here we have just under 12 inches. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier on the 2022 Dodge Durango. This medium-sized cargo carrier is gonna be able to handle 500 pounds. So that's perfect if you have anything heavy you wanna keep outside your vehicle and not inside the back. If I get inside of it, you can see I'm just under 250 pounds, and that's handling pretty well. Now, if we look at the dimensions of it, the width is gonna be about 47 1/4 inches, and the length is gonna be about 20 1/2 inches, depth just under six inches. As for tie down, tying anything down, now, really, we have a lot of spots that work great for that, you know, like even this aluminum is still gonna be, is still really sturdy. more
